I’m completely refactoring usergroups right now, and not committing anything until it’s functional.

Part of the WP.com requirement is that we store the relationships in taxonomies instead of user meta.

With this in mind, I’m thinking that ‘ef_usergroup’ will be a post type. When you create new usergroup, there will be bridge terms in separate taxonomies for managing relationships between users and posts. When you assign a user to the usergroup, the user object is assigned the taxonomy term. When you assign a post to a usergroup (e.g. this usergroup is subscribed), the post would be assigned the usergroup taxonomy term. Users directly to posts would have to be a separate taxonomy I suppose. Does this make sense?

Also, what do you guys think about renaming this as “Subscriptions” because that’s essentially what it is?
